Tillamook State Forest is one of my favorite places to ride, it’s magical and really fostered my love for ADV riding. I want to give back to this place that has had such a huge impact on my life. As you’re probably aware, our wild places have seen a huge increase in visitors in the last two years. Our rangers are spread pretty thin, so I figured one of the best things we could do for them is lend a hand in some high use areas. The goal: to do our part to clean up as much trash as we can up the Jones Creek area of the Tillamook State Forest.
I’m thrilled to be partnering with onX Offroad for this project. We decided to organize this cleanup because we both agree on how important it is to protect our wild places to keep them open for future use. onX is a powerful mapping tool for your adventures, but also to keep an eye on local areas and organize your own cleanup if you notice an area getting a lot of use that maybe your local rangers can’t keep up with. It’s important to do what we can to keep our favorite wild places clean and open.
